“It was a pleasant cafe, warm and clean and friendly, and I hung up my old water-proof on the coat rack to dry and put my worn and weathered felt hat on the rack above the bench and ordered a cafe au lait. The waiter brought it and I took out a notebook from the pocket of the coat and a pencil and started to write"

Films
These are the films Nicole and I have watched together recently.
Which of the ones you posted is your favorite? I'll be honest, based on the title page alone, I am intrigued by 'Mary et Max,' 'Only Human,' and 'Children of Heaven'. :)
Interesting (: I'd have to say Children of Heaven was my favourite, because it was so simple and lovely. I'd like to watch it again, because it was in Persian, and I was so focused on the images, some of the words escaped me. Mary and Max is close second. It's pure genious, and I think we should definitely watch it when you get here. Only human was okay. I liked the fact that it focused on two minorities that we dont' hear a lot of in Spain, but there was something about it that didn't sit right with me. I think it was just that many of the sentiments expressed were overused...maybe I was hoping for something more significant. Now I'm rambling. In any case, if you'd like to know more about any of the films, let me know! I'd also like to hear which Nicole would pick as her favourite (:
